We were traveling to Tehuitzingo yesterday for a conference when we saw this bird on the road. At first I thought it was some kind of pheasant, then I got a good look at him. He was beautiful!! He is a type of falcon, called a Northern Caracara, and he was cleaning up a little roadkill. We turned around to get a better look at him and he flew into this big cactus tree. This picture isn´t great, but the video turned out really good. Needless to say, this is the first time we´ve seen anything like this so close and we were very excited!
