Patience, Patience

I was being very patient this morning and it paid off. We had several visitors to the fountain in our backyard, a couple of which were new visitors...

a Lesser Goldfinch and a House Sparrow
May 2012

Rufous-backed Robin
May 2012

He has been here before, but I always love seeing him. He has never taken a bath before...

Canyon Towhee
May 2012

Usually he shows up with another Towhee and they like to forage on the ground

I think this is a House Finch

White-eared Hummingbird
May 2012

I was very excited to see him!
We get many hummingbirds in the yard, but I've never seen him before
